Al Quran Al Azeez does not require an account and does not collect personal information. This page explains the small amount of data the app does handle, and why.

Crash reporting

We use Sentry to catch crashes and errors so we can fix bugs. A crash report may include a screenshot of the screen at the moment of the error and app state (such as the current surah, theme, or reciter selected) to help us diagnose the problem. No device identifiers, IP address, or personal identity are attached to these reports.

Qibla direction

If you use the Qibla compass, your device's location is read on-device only, to calculate the bearing to the Kaaba. It is never transmitted off your device or stored anywhere.

Feedback

If you choose to submit feedback from within the app, your message, the app version, your selected language, and a randomly generated, anonymous install identifier (not a device identifier — it resets if you reinstall the app) are sent to our feedback service. This is only ever sent if you actively open the feedback form and submit it.

What we don't do

• No ads and no advertising SDKs
• No analytics or tracking SDKs
• No accounts, sign-in, or user profiles
• No selling or sharing of your data with third parties
